TOKYO: Government of Japan has cancelled Karachi Circular Railway Project after a case filed against the Japanese company. The Japan’s government has informed the decision to Minister Finance Ishaq Dar.
It is not known that who filed case against the Japanese company. 2.5 billion dollar worth Karachi Circular Railway project was assisted by the Japan government.
On the decision, the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the government will probe case filed against the Japanese company adding the case against the Japanese company is unfortunate and the government will thoroughly probe the matter. The Finance Minister also ensured the Japanese government that it will investigate filing of a case against the Japanese company.
ISLAMABAD: A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued for Lal Masjid
cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz, by a civil judge today.
Two days ago FIR No. 569 had been lodged in the Aabpara police station against so-called Maulana Abdul Aziz for threatening members of civil society. Members of civil society had been protesting outside the Lal Masjid against Maulana Abdul Aziz for his unwillingness to condemn the brutal attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar. Aziz in a statement given to a TV channel said he could not condemn a single incident.
