Facts about Gallup Survey and Dr. Aijaz Shafi Gillani

Dr Aijaz Shafi Gilani , the Don of the Survey mafia in Pakistan is a pro-Jamat-e-Islami and a loyalist of Nawaz Sharif.

If one is to believe in the Poll and Survey mafia, Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan are two of the most popular leaders in Pakistan whereas PPP and its allies such as ANP, JUI-F have their popularity graph on the decline.
However, it seems that the people of Pakistan do not reflect the ’sentiments’ and ‘wishes’ of the poll engineers. After the PPP’s victory in the Gilgit-Baltistan and Quetta elections, JUI-F has won bye elections in Mansehra and ANP (supported by PPP) has won in Swat.

Ijaz Gilani of Gallup Pakistan is running Gallup as a mafia in Pakistan. He has his team of propagandists Haroon-ur-Rasheed, Ansar Abbasi, Dr Shahid Masood and Irfan Siddiqui.
Few common people but a number of media persons know that Dr Gilani is a life long affiliate of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. He also serves as an employee and loyalist to Nawaz Sharif and has served him in his IJI/ISI engineered government during 1991-1993. In 1991 – 1993 he was the Advisor to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

In fact Dr. Gilani is a businessman and Gallup Pakistan is his business organization. Like other commercial organizations, Gallup Pakistan also serves its clients and facilitates its high paying clients like Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif.
 

CRY OF A KARACHIITE: KESC EVIL MANAGEMENT AND EVIL UNION
What a hell or SICK is KESC, why treating people of Karachi like as animal. Those who are paying KESC bill in honesty and timely as compare to those who are using illegal connections in Katchi abadies and 'Qabza basti' then why you treat asstep mother. KESC high level management is the Super Satan who is drinking blood of law-abiding people of Karachi. May Almighty Allah crush and destroy all people who are responsible of this forged and fake load shedding.  May Allah destroy those who worsen the situation by doing strike, and those who are on their back and courage KESC’s corrupt management to do more and more load shedding. All management and badmaash union leaders are supposed and deserve one place to go which is “the Hell”?   (A Karachiite)

KESC MANAGEMENT AND UNION DESTROYING CITY
As soon as summer season started, the city plunged into darkness. The power shortage is a
serious problem.

Load shedding is not only preventing people from carrying on their daily routine. It is also
depriving many of their livelihood. Load shedding will continue to haunt and hurt our day-to-day life and progress, if effective measures are not taken to resolve the energy problem. Particularly the elderly people and school going children can hardly live without electricity. The worst affected are students who are studying for their final examinations these days.

Besides of the management of KESC, the labor union (CBA) is also destroying PMTs and transformers across Karachi. Many areas of the city are facing 24 to 48 hours of power shutdown in peak humid conditions. KESC call centre 118 has been out of order while complaint centers in many areas are without staff due to strike by the union.

We all know that performance of the KESC has been deteriorating day by day.
Firm and strict measures need to be taken on an urgent basis both by the KESC and the government. (Shafiq Ahmed, Karachi)

SC ruffles politicians over fake degrees
The judicial activism initiated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ruffled many political feathers, as the scandal relating to the fake degrees of our parliamentarians begins to emerge. The entire affair has once again disgraced the nation.

The Election Commission and Higher Education Commission have both failed to check the authenticity of the educational degrees through which some of our parliamentarians have fraudulently wriggled their way into the National Assembly.

This grave act of negligence by these institutions, on which millions of rupees of the taxpayer’s money has been spent, must be held accountable.

They must be questioned as to why the candidates’ degrees were not checked and why they were allowed to sit in parliament for such a long time?

Instead of resigning and setting an example for our youth, they lied to become legislators and are now defending their behaviour by launching a vicious attack against the courts and the media.

A ruthless media trial may be wrong and the names of the defaulting parliamentarians should not be announced without verification. Some of our leading anchors may seem politically biased but to accuse the judiciary and the media of hatching a conspiracy to defame them is ridiculous.

Therefore, it is time for us to make up our minds as a nation and decide what is Pakistan to be, a banana republic or a self-respecting, progressive and tolerant democracy? The parliament should be accountable to the citizens and the judiciary, as per the constitution.

Either we say goodbye to the constitution, justice and the rule of law or say hello to the law of the jungle and the ‘might is right’ syndrome.

As such, the superior judiciary will have to assert its authority and punish a handful of these parliamentarians, according to the law of the country. The message has to be sent out loud and clear that crime does not pay.

As an old Chinese saying goes, “When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set.”

ایم کیوایم پرالزام نہ لگایئے
ایک مؤقرروزنامے کے ایک مستقل کالم نویس جناب سلیم صا‏فی نے ایم کیوایم کے بارے میں اپنے خیالات کا اظھار کیا ہے اورایم کیوایم کی بہت سی خوبیوں کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے اس پر بہت سی برایئاں بھی تھوپ دی ہیں ۔ انکے کالم کے بہت سے حصے ایسے ہیں جن کی وضاحت کی ضرورت ہے اوران پر بہت کچھہ لکھا جاسکتا ہے ۔ تاھم ایم کیوایم کے کارکنان اورانکی قیادت ہی یہ کام بہتر طورپر کرسکتی ہے۔ یہاں انکے کالم کے ایک حصے پرکراچی کے ایک شہری کی حیثیت سے اپنی رائے دینا چاہتا ہوں، امید ہے کہ مذ‏کورہ صحا‏فی اس پر غورفرمایئں گے اوراپنے رائے تبدیل کرنے میں کشادگئی قلب کا مظاھرہ کریں گے۔

وہ لکھتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے جب پختون آبادی والے علاقوں کا د‏ورہ کیا تو دیکھا کہ وہاں کراچی کے دیگر علاقوں کے مقابلے میں ترقی نہ ہونے کے برابر تھی۔ آگے وہ لکھتے ہیں کہ یہ سب کچھہ فطری ہے، جوجس سے ووٹ لیتا ہے وہ اسی کو فوقیت دیتا ہے۔

جناب صافی صاحب! یہ ایم کیوایم پر، کراچی کی شہری حکومت پر اورمصطفی کمال پرسراسربہتان اورسنگین الزام تراشی ہے۔ مصطفی کمال نے ناظم کراچی کی حیثیت سے پورے کراچی کی بلا امتیازخد‏مت کی ہے اورانکے سخت ترین مخا‏لف بھی اس کا اعتراف کرنے پرمجبورہوجاتے ہیں۔ مصطفی کمال نے اپنے ووٹ بنک والے علاقوں کوترقی دینے میں نہ صرف بخل کا مظاہرہ نہیں کیا بلکہ اکثرایسے علاقوں میں زیادہ ہی فیاضی کا مظاہرہ کر گئے۔ اس میں کوئی شک ہو توآپ اپنے طورپرخاموشی کے ساتھہ کراچی کے ان علاقوں میں جایئں جہاں سے ایم کیوایم کوکبھی ووٹ نہیں ملتے۔ بغورمشاہدے سے آپ پریہ بات واضح ہوجائے گی کہ یہاں بھی ترقیاتی کام اتنے ہی ہوئے جتنے شہر کے دوسرے علا‏قوں میں ہوئے ہیں۔ البتہ ایک واضح فرق آپ کولوگوں کے رویئے کا نظر آئے گا۔ جن بستیوں کاآپ نے ذکر کیا وہاں رہنے والے سرکاری سہولیا‏ت کا کیا حشرکرتے ہیں۔ انکو کس کس طرح برباد کرتے ہیں، یہ سب آپ کو وہاں جاکر ہی نظرآسکتا ہے۔ کتنا خوبصورت پارک بناکردے دیں چند‏ ماہ میں ہی اسکا حلیہ تبدیل کردیا جاتا ہے۔ کتنے ہی اچھے روڈ بنادیں ، کچھہ عرصے میں کھنڈربن جاتے ہیں۔ اگرشہری حکومت ان غیرقانونی حرکات پرکوئی کارروائی کرتی ہے تواسے لسا‏نی تعصب اورانتقا‏می کارروائی کا نام دے کرفسا‏د برپا کردیا جاتا ہے۔ انکے مقابلے میں آپ کبھی ان بستیوں کا بھی خاموشی کے ساتھہ د‏ورہ کریں جہاں ایم کیوایم کا ننانوے فیصد سےزیادہ ووٹ ہے۔ مجھے کچھہ کہنے کی ضرورت نہیں، فرق آپ خود دیکھہ لیں گے۔

ایک یہ بات بھی ضرورآپکے محل نظر رہنی چاہئےکہ کراچی میں وہ لوگ جنہیں کراچی والے کہا جاتا ہے وہ جن بستیوں میں رہتے ہیں وہاں وہ اپنی پوری زندگی کی کمائی لگا کر بمشکل ایک مکان بنا پاتے ہیں۔ اورپھروہ با‏قی ماندہ زندگی اپنی خون پسینے کی کمائی سےد‏رجنوں طرح کے ٹیکس اداکرتے ہوئے گذاردیتے ہیں۔ وہ پانی کیلئے بھی ادائیگی کرتے ہیں، بجلی کی بھی قیمت اداکرتے ہیں، مکان کا بھی ٹیکس بھرتے ہیں، سڑکوں کی صفائی ، فائربریگیڈ کے اخراجات بھی انہیں ہی ادا کرنے پڑتے ہیں۔ ان میں سے کسی چیز سے مفرممکن نہیں۔

اسکے برعکس جن بستیوں کی آپ بات کرتے ہیں وہاں کے تمام مکانات سرکاری اراضیوں پر قبضے کرکے بنائے جاتے ہیں۔ وہاں کے با‏سی نہ توکسی قسم کا ٹیکس ادا کرتے ہیں، نہ ہی انہیں بجلی کے بل کی فکر ہے، نہ ہی وہ جایئداد یا پانی کا ٹیکس ادا کرنے کے پابند ہیں۔ نہ انہیں بجلی پانی کے کنکشن پررقم خرچ کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ بجلی کنڈے سے آجاتی ہے، پانی لایئنیں توڑکرحاصل کرلیا جاتا ہے۔ اوران علاقوں میں کوئی سرکاری اہل کا ران کے خلاف کا‏رروائی کیلئے نہیں جاسکتا۔ اگربھول کرچلا بھی گیا توبدترین تشدد اسکا مقد‏رہے۔

اگرآپ لوگوں کے رویئے کا فرق ملاحظہ فرمانا چاہتے ہیں تونیوکراچی چلے جایئں۔ یہاں سٹی گورنمنٹ نے ہزاروں کی تعداد میں دکانیں مسمارکردیں جوکئی عشروں سے یہاں قائم تھیں۔ یہ سب تجاوزات کے زمرے میں آتی تھیں۔ یہ وہ علاقہ ہے جہاں ایم کیوایم کا صد فیصد ووٹ ہے۔ تمام دکانداروں نے کھلے د‏ل سے اس حقیقت کوتسلیم کیا کہ سڑک کوچوڑاکرنے کیلئے انہیں قربانی دینی پڑے گی اورانہوں نے یہ قربانی دی ۔ کسی سیا‏‏سی پارٹی میں یہ ہمت نہیں تھی کہ اپنے اتنے ووٹروں کو ناراض کرسکتی ۔ یہ صرف ایک مثال تھی لیکن کراچی میں ایسی بے شمار مثالیں ملتی ہیں۔

سلیم صافی صاحب کسی وقت کراچی کے ان جزیروں کا دورہ ضرورکریں جہا‏ں سے ایم کیوایم کو کبھی ایک ووٹ نہیں ملا ۔ جولوگ یہاں سے ووٹ لیتے تھے انہیں کبھی یہ نہیں نظر آیا کہ یہاں کے با‏سی تین سوسال سے میٹھے پانی کی بوند بوند کو ترس رہے تھے۔ یہ بھی اسے ہی نظر آیا جو آپ کے بقول "جس سے ووٹ لیتا ہے اسی کوفوقیت دیتا ہے"۔ ان جزائر کی تین سوسالہ تاریخ میں پہلی بارتازہ پانی یہاں پہنچنا شروع ہوا۔ اورکبھی آپ اس سڑک پر بھی سفرکیجئے جوکراچی کے ان مضافاتی ساحلی گوٹھوں کوشہر سے ملاتی ہے جہاں سے کراچی پہنچنا ایک ‏عذاب سے کم نہ تھا، اکثرمریض توشہر پہنچنے سے بہت پہلے ہی تمام دنیاوی ضرورتوں سے بے نیاز ہوجایاکرتے تھے۔ اس سڑک پرسفرکرتے ہوئے آپ مبارک ولیج پہنچیں تووہاں کے لوگوں سے کچھہ باتیں بھی کیجئے اورانسے پوچھہ لیں کہ انکے علاقے سے کون جیتتا رہا ہے۔ پھرذرا یہ بھی معلوم کریں کہ اس سڑک کے بننے سے پہلے اوربعد کی زندگی میں وہ کیا فرق محسوس کرتے ہیں۔

میں بات کوبہت طول نہیں دوں گا، لیکن یہ ضرورگذارش کروں گا کہ سلیم صافی صاحب کراچی کا دورہ ضرورکریں مگرکسی سیاسی پارٹی کے عہدیدار کے ساتھہ نہیں، ورنہ آپ تصویرکوصحیح زاویئے سے نہیں دیکھہ سکیں گے۔ (مستنصرعلی خاں۔ بفرزون، کراچی )
